About

Benjamin John Stevens, Architect was founded in 2009 by licensed architect Benjamin John Stevens following seven years of design experience with architectural firms in cities from coast to coast, including Baltimore, San Diego, San Francisco, and Laguna Beach.

Benjamin has made it his duty and priority as an architect to provide a broad range of services and value at every stage of the design and construction process for his clients. The design aesthetic of a project is perhaps the most obvious area in which an architect makes a unique and valuable contribution, creating a visually appealing place with pleasing character, style, functionality, and high-quality detailing.

Benjamin does not believe that any one style is appropriate to every building and every place. Instead he believes in utilizing his training and experience to assess project requirements in great depth, explore ideas jointly with his clients, and to ultimately translate their wishes into built form that is tailored to suit their personality, needs, budget, and lifestyle.

As an architect, Benjamin John Stevens is also committed to serving as his client’s advocate throughout their project, addressing compliance with applicable codes and regulations, assisting in the processing of required approvals, overseeing the work of the contractor, and coordinating all technical and aesthetic aspects of a project.

Benjamin prides himself on providing intimate “one-on-one” client care relationships not only throughout design and construction, but also well beyond a project’s completion. This relationship is essential, for there is a direct correlation between a project’s end quality and the quality of the relationship between the client and architect.
